Technical skills

Tableau is an important tool in analyzing and displaying data. I learned to use it this past semester and have applied it to a real world project. For my Descriptive Analytics class, the project was to analyze the data we received from Children's Hospital at Darthmouth Hitchcock (CHaD) regarding one of their events and make recommendations on how they can improve their it for next year. Using Tableau, I was able to find out where most people come from and display it on a geographical map. I was also able to show what the trends of which gender attends their event more and which cities donate more.

During my fall internship at Volunteer New Hampshire (VNH), I learned to use Little Green Light (LGL). LGL is a donor database system that allows organizations to manage their donations and make decisions accordingly. In the beginning, I cleaned and imported VNH's donor data into LGL. Then I analyzed where most donations come from and made recommendations on who VNH can target to collect more donations.

While at VNH, I also learned to use Google Analytics. I used Google Analytics to track and report the traffic VNH gets on its website. After three months of analyzing trends, I formulated a plan for VNH to redesign its website to attract more visitors. I recommended that they configure their website for all browsers, update the information, and effectively design their site to retain people's attention.

Soft skills

During my four years at college, I have participate in sports, engaged in community programs, and been a part of several class projects. Throughout all these activies, I have honed my soft skills of leadership and communication. For example, I lead the Axis Communications project team to successfully gather information, formulate a plan, and make recommendations for the company to be more inclusive. With my tennis team and community programs, I communicated effectively to perform at our best and accomplish our goals.
