Tennis
I played for Southern New Hampshire University's tennis team for two years. Through these years, I got to meet wonderful people and formed strong bonds with them. Last year, we won the NE-10 Championship for the third year in a row and our goal for 2019 is to win the Regional Championship and make the Nationals.
YMCA Kids Day
During the winter, our tennis team would practice indoors and we would volunteer to help during YMCA's Kids Day. We helped kids learn about tennis and make it fun for them to play.
Cultural Exchange Club
At Manchester Community College, I was the secretary of the Cultural Exchange Club. I assisted with planning and implementation of cultural activities to encourage student participation in the club. I also collaborated with e-board members to create and execute annual events such as the International Gala and earned the Spotlight on Leadership Award.
International Student Services
I worked at International Student Services (ISS) while studying at Southern New Hampshire University. At ISS, I welcomed new international students and helped them adjust to life in the United States. I educated them about American culture, showed them the resources offered throughout the campus, and encouraged them to get involved and participate in inter-cultural events.
